The Berean Scale

Bible Verses for What You’re Facing

Life rarely arrives in neat categories. This library gathers Scripture pages around common situations so you can begin with one relevant passage, read it in context, and distinguish what the text explicitly says from how it may reasonably apply.

Start with What You’re Facing

Each topic page begins with a primary passage and works outward from the text rather than starting with a desired conclusion. The goal is not simply to find an encouraging verse, but to understand why the passage fits and where its application should stop.

How These Pages Work

Every page begins with one primary passage from the World English Bible (WEB), followed by its surrounding context and a short explanation of what the passage actually says.

The connection between a passage and a situation may fall into one of three categories:

  • Direct — the passage or its immediate context explicitly addresses the same issue.
  • Related principle — the passage addresses an underlying condition, concern, or responsibility without directly describing the exact circumstance.
  • Broader application — Scripture provides relevant wisdom without deciding a specific personal choice, prediction, or outcome.

This distinction matters. A passage should not be made to promise more than Yahweh actually said.

What These Pages Are Not

These pages are not personal prophecy, and the AI tool is not treated as an authority.

AI may help match a situation with relevant Scripture, but it does not create, rewrite, or alter the Bible text. Scripture remains the source, and every application should be tested against the passage in its actual context.

The purpose is simple: help you get to a relevant passage without turning Scripture into a slogan, prediction, prosperity promise, or answer to a question the text itself does not settle.

Is Your Situation More Specific?

A permanent topic page may not capture exactly what you are facing.

Describe your situation in your own words and Verse for This Moment will help match it with one relevant passage of Scripture and a short, context-aware explanation.
